Customer Question

I have a dual axle boat trailer. The problem I have is the equaliser bar at one end is resting on the frame. At this end of the equaliser bar the leaf spring pivots on the bar.
The other end of the equaliser bar, the leaf spring is attached to the bar by means of a shackle.
The dual spring arrangement is as follows from the from of the trailer:
Fixed pivot point while at the equaliser bar has a shackle.
At the other end of the equaliser bar has a fixed pivot point
The rear of the second axle spring has a shackle fixed to the trailer frame.
I suspect maybe the shackle at the equaliser bar should be under the equaliser bar rather than on top.
Can you please advise how I can correct the problem?
