Hello, my name is***** will assist you today.

Have you replaced the primer bulb recently? If so, with what brand?

How do your spark plugs look?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I did replace the fuel line a few months ago . I have not pull the plugs. It's a 29 gal tank on a partyhut... I put a new tube in the tank and at the top of the tube is a 90 degree fitting that is suooose to have a check valve ball to keep gas from returning to tank . Maybe the ck. valve isn't holding? what do you think?
Expert:  Charles replied 1 year ago.

The bulb should hold the fuel regardless of it the anti-siphon valve is installed or not. Are you near the boat now?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
walikin distance.... I will take PC out ther e....hope i have service
Expert:  Charles replied 1 year ago.

take a 5/16" socket and remove the fuel pump from the block. It is held on by two bolts. Then use the primer bulb to see if you get any fuel from the hole in the back of it or the hoe connection in the front of it.

That is what I am getting.

Locate the white filter near the carbs. Follow that hose that comes into it, there is the fuel pump. Will either be in the center of the block on the left side, or down low on the right side.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
is it about 2 inches square

Expert:  Charles replied 1 year ago.

Thanks

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
i tried three bolts and they all began leaking gas...... if you would tell me what I need to do to find the answer to the primer bulb not staying tight I would appreciate it...just list what the causes may be and I'll go from there.... thanks.
Expert:  Charles replied 1 year ago.

Remove the hose from the front cover of the pump, then locate just the two bolts hat go all the way thru the pump and into the block, take those two out, leave the other two in. Leave the hoses connected t the center body of the pump. With the pump loosened off, squeeze the primer bulb and see if there is any fuel coming from the hole in the back of the pump or from the elbow on the front cover. If there is, rebuild the pump.

Expert:  Charles replied 1 year ago.

Let me know if there is not a leak in those two spots, we will continue troubleshooting.
