I have a 40 hp westerbeak with electric lift pump. I am changing fuel filters. How do I purge the air from the lines. Thanks Tom

Could I get the generator model please. Not knowing the model I don't know if you have gas or diesel. They made both.

If this is a gasoline engine the system doesn't need to be bled.

If diesel follow these instructions. I am assuming you have diesel as to the question of bleeding the lines.

I crack the fittings on the injectors then crank the engine till I see good fuel. Once the injector start to squirt fuel tighten the fittings then start engine.
