Customer Question

I have a 1999 javelin venom with a 90 hp Johnson. The trim has been lowering the motor by its self! I can raise it and in about 30 seconds it will lower its self! The trim switch rubber is missing and the switch seems to be harder than normal to activate. I would like to repair it myself if possible ,I can usely fix things easily if I know what to fix. The trim switch is in the motor speed handle. Thank you!

Hello my name is ***** ***** am I speaking with?

When you say the trim lowers itself. Is the trim motor actually running in the down position? Or is it just dropping down without the motor running? Also, do you have the actual model number on the engine?
