I have a 2013 28' Corsair I noticed water coming in under

Customer Question

I have a 2013 28' Corsair
I noticed water coming in under the panel that's below the double doors to the cabin. I unscrewed the hatch and looked into the v hull and both sides were filled with water! it took me 15 plus minutes to pump out the water with a submersible pump. Hundreds of gallons of water was in the hull. Over 14" deep on both sides!
This happened twice this summer?
dangerous? why does it happen? The boat is always covered with canvas and two upright poles.

Hi my name is Mike,

If you can answer a few questions for me, I may be able to help you....

Is the boat stored in that water or on a trailer?

Is it in fresh or salt water?

Where is the boat located?

Is it raining during the storage period?

can you post a pic here of the panel that you removed?

Let's start by answering these questions and take it from there.
