I have a 20HP Nissan 2Stroke with a sheared drive shaft. Old

Customer Question

I have a 20HP Nissan 2Stroke with a sheared drive shaft.
Old drive shaft removed and I have the new one ready to install, but the bearings are still quite firmly attached onto the old drive shaft.
How can I remove those bearings and transfer them to the new drive shaft.
Is there a tool or technique that will easily pop those bearings off the old drive shaft without damaging them?

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will assist you. To remove and install the bearing you would need a hydraulic press as the one in the link below:$_3.JPG?set_id=2

This holds the baring whilst pressing on the shaft to come out. Ideally you take both shafts to an engineering shop and get it replaced there, it will be much easier. The bearing is press fitted and thus cannot be removed without this tool.

If you require further assistance let me know.
