Have you lifted the tab on the washer that locks the nut inplace?
The nut is CounterClockwise to remove.
That is the correct tool, the nut is still CCW to remove. It is torqued to 210 Ftlbs so you need a long breaker bar to get it loose. It is easier to get to loose it still attached to the boat.
41 is the nut. that is what the tools should fit into.
The tool fits inside it. Then go CCW to remove it.
Should be the same tool.

Dang, the metal there had to be thin to crack when trying to remove the carrier. The ratio of the drive is 2.00:1. This is the latest part number for it.
Where did the housing crack?
The top is where the ration is set. The bottom for a gas engine only has one set of gears.
Look for the part number that I sent. It did sub up from an A20 to the G09.
