I have an AQ131. I put water in the heat exchanger and it

Customer Question

I have an AQ131. I put water in the heat exchanger and it come out below the exhaust manifold. Engine overheated, I think burned a gasket, but why would water come out exhaust manifold?

Interesting, have you checked the sea water pump?
Expert:  K. Kergan replied 2 years ago.
If I remember correctly, there is a copper pipe that connects to the exhaust manifold, it has a rubber seal on it that may have been damaged by an overheat.
Remove the two bolts that hold it in place and check the rubber seal.
Let me know what you come up with.

Neither answer is satisfying. Not leaking from a copper pipe. I sent photo showing leak location. Sea water pump is not leaking and not even running. It is on the other side and nothing to do with the leak on the side of the engine block.

I don't know if you have a cracked block, popped out frost plug, what you have?
I have not seen a photo of the leak location,
could you re-post it please?
