I have a 2465 regal commodore. I installed a windlass on the bow. The boat is prewired for it but no power to the cables provided

Hi, Do you have a windlass breaker switch at the helm? If so, check for power there... from the breaker it is wired to the battery switch. Generally manufactures like Regal will include the cables but no other components. Did you have to install the up/down switch or was it already there? Mike
