I have a 1993 9.9 four stroke outboard. It hasn't been run

Customer Question

I have a 1993 9.9 four stroke outboard. It hasn't been run four many years. New tank, new hose, new gas. It starts very well and runs good for a while and will just quit for a second and go again, and quit and gol If you come done to and idle and put power to it again it does the same again, runs fine for a while and quits. It doesn't ever die completly. Help

Hello, my name is***** you for allowing me to assist you today.
Check all of the wire connections on the engine. This sounds like you have a bad connection in the kill circuit and it is stopping the spark for just a moment and then allowing he engine to run again.
