Hello. My name is***** you have a volt meter to do some voltage tests? Could I get the engine model number please?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Give me a minute. I think it is the battery. It started fine, but died when we docked for several hours. Getting ready to check the other battery.

Ok. You want to make sure the battery cables are clean and tight.

The starter batter read 0% when I charged it. It is charging up really fast though. Never had to charge it before. No luck connecting to the trolling motor battery.I have a carolima skiff 17 dlx. 60 hp Johnson 2004.

Do you have a volt meter so we can do some testing? Locate the start solenoid on the engine then jump from battery cable connection to the yellow/red terminal on the start solenoid does the engine crank?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I can get a volt meter. I have no idea what a start solenoid looks like.

Sorry I will have to opt out I don't have the manual on the 4 stroke motor.

What? I guess you cancel the charges then?
