Hello, my name is***** you for allowing me to assist you today.
What kind and size is he boat?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Tracker 175TXW, bought in April as a new 2014 boat. Due to injury I didn't get it in the water until last week. By the way, thanks for your service. retired U.S. Army here.

Alright, do you have a flat tip screwdriver and a 15/16" socket?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes but the boat is in my shop and I don't have wifi connect there.
Expert:  Charles replied 2 years ago.
Ok remove the prop, Then press out the hub. Make sure that all of the fingers in the center of it are still straight and not slightly twisted.

all looks good.

No damage, twisting or anything other than normal. The shaft is still shiny new.
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
You still here?
Expert:  Charles replied 2 years ago.
Did you have the engine trimmed all the way under? What was he load in the boat?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
Yes. Two people, about 545 lbs. full tank of fuel (20 gal). Two batteries in rear compartment. Got up on plane if my buddy went forward a bit, but still ran at 4000 rpm and no faster than 20 mph ( both on speedometer and on depth finder GPS). Is the prop the right size for this engine?.. Like I said, it really looks small at just over 10". Or does the motor need tuning for the 4200 ft of altitude?
Expert:  Charles replied 2 years ago.
The prop is the correct one for a sea level motor. Your EFI should adjust for the Alt. Can you try a 12P prop and see how the engine runs?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
I can try that. Long trip to a Tracker dealer, and due to some shoddy work I don't trust the one from whom I bought the boat. I'll take it up to a dealer a little north of here. Thanks for your input if you don't have more ideas. I'm ant a loss.
Expert:  Charles replied 2 years ago.
It is either that or the engine is not running correctly.
