when i turn on the panel switch to my 1989 sylvan boat the gauges peg in the wrong direction. or so it appears.
any clue as to what i have wrong?

The gauge panel is missing a good ground or the power is connected backwards. Check all the ground wires for good connections. Black wire is Ground ( - ) Red or purple is Positive ( + )

I will look at it tonight, also one of the fuze's keeps blowing, i can't put a new one in because it arcs and blows the fuze. What about white and blue wires? can they be either neg or pos?
