My four winns 4.3 17 ft had a fire in engine compartment. Engine

Customer Question

my four winns 4.3 17 ft had a fire in engine compartment. Engine was running when fire was put out. Engine looks fine, don't know what caused it, I looked in there and couldn't see any burning. Wondering if it might be a wiring bundle, blower or sump pump. I might not replaced all the drain plugs. (but it 's been 3 years since I winterized it)

Hello. My name is Tan. The only thing that will cause a fire is a short in the electrical system, over heating motor. Did the engine alarm ever sound? Did the engine temp gauge show signs of over heat?
