Have 2004 21' Tracker Party Deck with 4.3 220 hp Mercruiser

Customer Question

Have 2004 21' Tracker Party Deck with 4.3 220 hp Mercruiser (Alpha). Apparently something was left on after last outing and drained battery. We were using a jump box and I inadvertently crossed the cables on the starter battery. We are pretty sure there is a dead short somewhere between battery and switch because switch now does nothing. Anything powered straight from battery works fine but nothing through switch. Owner's manual mentions a 20 amp fuse possibly somewhere in line but we can not locate. There is a 90 amp breaker on top of engine that doesn't seem to do anything. Any suggestions?

Yes and we have done some testing already.
Expert:  Tan replied 2 years ago.
Ok we need to test for voltage on both terminals of the circuit breaker. Do you have voltage?
Customer: replied 2 years ago.
No. I think this has been done but my sons did the actual testing and they are not available right now. One of them is a elec. engr. and the other is a mechanic. Can I come back to you later when they are available?
