Customer Question

I have a 1997 Honda 4 stroke 90 HP
Just started it for the season - started great but when I throttle it up I am getting an alarm at the ignition.
No red lights (the oil pressure light stays green)
I am running water to it via a hose (pumping fine through the engine)
It is very unlikely a temperature issue in that the alarm came on almost immediately when I increased the throttle

I am assuming the red overheat light is not illuminated?I need the engine serial number to positively ID the engine. Honda uses serial groups to ID the engine.
