I have a 1984 merc 50 horse four cylinder. My problem is the water temp of the outlet is quite warm. you cannot put your hand in it. The flow of water is fine, it comes out in a good stream just really warm.

Hello, my name is***** will be assisting you today.Have you checked the flow to the water jacket or to the engine or to the exhaust plate? This is where you need to start. When the water gets that hot, it is spending too much time inside the engine block. I would look too removing the water jacket cover and inspect the water passages thee.
