Items that you would need to check are the temp of the EMM at low speed . If it is hot, that can cause an issue. Make sure that all of the water passages leading to the motor and the EMM are clear. There are allot of post on the EMM overheating due to clogged eater passages to it. Some have even installed a filter on the water inlet to the engine.
