About nine years ago I had a Raritan Electric PHE II head installed

Customer Question

About nine years ago I had a Raritan Electric PHE II head installed in our sailboat. It operated fine, but when the boat was launched about a month ago, it did not pump water from below to flush. The seacock is open, the electric turns the pump, but there is no water being flushed. The boat has always been berthed in Rochester, New York, in fresh water (Lake Ontario). The head was installed by a marina in Sodus Bay, New York, about 30 miles east of Rochester. I have tried to find someone near Rochester who could service the head, but there seems to be no one nearby, so I will tackle it myself. Any suggestions as to where to start?

Hello. My name is***** you pull off the water supply line do you have water? When you get the supply line off use a pencil to stick in the fitting where the hose connects to the head push up with the pencil this should dislodge the check ball.
