Customer Question

I have a 2004 125 mercury outboard. The problem im having is trying to start it . It is very hard to start, I pump the gas, use the choke, it will pull over but will not run for very long. I usally have to run high throttle at 1500 rpm to keep it from stolling. When I put the boat into gear it stops running.
Just bought the boat ran old fuel out put new fuel in plus stabilizer. It does seem when it runs awhile it starts easier at 1 or 2 tries.
