I bought a '95 Rinker 180 Merc 4-cyl I/O. In a driveway test

Customer Question

I bought a '95 Rinker 180 Merc 4-cyl I/O. In a driveway test run, the exhaust/water comes out near the gimbal housing at the transom. Seems to me the exhaust/water should come out thru the lower unit at the prop. Question: Do I have an exhaust leak in the outdrive?
And if so any harm in running it as is?

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will assist you. Yes the water should come out of the gimbal from two holes from the side of the gimbal that is normal, there is nothing to worry about.
If you need further assistance let me know.
