Hi my name is***** will assist you.
.
The top lever on the control box is the warm up lever. This lever is for starting the engine and giving a little throttle. Now the screw is for throttle friction so the throttle doesn't creep when in gear and throttle is advanced. If the engine has been sitting for a long time 30 days or more the carburetor is clogged up and will cause the engine to stall when put in gear and throttle is advanced. If you can choke the engine when put in gear and this keeps the engine running then the carburetor is clogged up and will need to be removed, disassembled, cleaned and a carb kit installed. Post back with questions.
