I have a 1987 Bayliner Trophy model 2160 3 liter GM motor with an exterior cooling exchanger that has a leak by the end cap. It's coming out in three distinct streams about the size of a pencil lead. Where do I start? This boat has been sitting outside for five years now with no use.

My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be helping you today. Most questions will involve troubleshooting, and usually take many posts back and forth.

The end caps have a gasket between the cap and the exchanger. The gasket has failed. Replace it with a new one and you should be good to go.

Good luck!
