My name is XXXXX XXXXX I will be helping you today. Most questions will involve troubleshooting, and usually take many posts back and forth.
To answer your question completely. The only way you can do it is bring up the full parts listing for both engines and go through each part, number by number. It would take hours to go through everything.
I did take a few minutes to compare some key parts. Typically when you mix and match parts on these engines, in the end you are left with an engine that runs worse, and not better. And you typically can not mix and match parts between to different horsepower engine. But for the 40 and the 50. The cylinder heads are different, the camshafts, the electronics (ignition system), the exhaust tuner, and the carbs are all different.
So trying to get more power out of this is not just a case of simply swapping carbs or jets, there is quite a bit involved.
