VerifiedHello my name is XXXXX XXXXX will help you with your problem. Up to 2002/3 the ficht engines were not that good. I would prefer getting a powerheah and have things back the way there were before. Also having no counter rotating engine will tend to move the boat sideways. With twin installation its ideal to have them counter rotating. Also you will have one engine which is more powerfull then the other which has different gear ratios and would behave differently.

As for the power i don't think it has more and as far as i am concerned the gear ratios are different so the engines will be behaving differently. The lower unit will fit the 150. This will make the engines almost the same but i still prefer having the same model of engine installed.
