Hi, I have a c110 scanner and I’m getter a code fuel trim bank 2 permissible range exceeded and under that in another line it says 1D activation, ignition cylinder 1
2003 330i, 94,000 miles Just changed both intake boots, cleaned MAF and ICV, new plugs and coils too. After all the maintenance I did there were no codes for about 150 miles. The car has no symptoms. It runs fine and starts up perfectly.

Hello Daniel, can you give me the fault code number please?

also if I am reading this right, this code came up after 150 miles of fixing the infamous intake boot tears and those codes were erased?

the engine idle fines. I have also replaced the pre cat O2 sensors l. I plan on doing the fuel filter and post cat this weekend. Car is very clean, most if not all vacuum lines have been replaced.
Customer reply replied 8 months ago
No surging after spraying the engine
BMW Mechanic: Lou P, ASE Certified Technician replied 8 months ago

ok, you can have a sticking open purge valve .

since you dont have an actual code can you run to the nearest autozone or oriellys and have them check the codes to get the code number?
