JA: How many miles are on the car? Have any warning codes popped up?
Customer: 170000 no codes
JA: What is the make/model/year of your car?
Customer: 2004 bmw 745li
JA: Are you fixing your 745li yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Cold start idle for 2.5 minutes 10min of city driving 20mins of highway driving with 2 min idle every 10min

Hello, my name is***** monitors will take longer to log than the others because they are based on key cycles. There is not a predetermined number but the on and off cycles as well as the off period of the ignition is what will allow these to set. I usually drive the vehicle the way you mentioned but I turn the vehicle off and let it sit for one hour between cycles and that should reset it.
