Customer Question

Rough idle. Misfire on cylinders 1,4 and 10. I've already replaced all plugs and coils and cleaned carbon on intakes and valves
JA: Is the rough idle intermittent or consistent?
Customer: Consistent
JA: What is the model of your '10 BMW?
Customer: 2006 Bmw 760i
JA: Are you fixing your 760i yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Me and mechanic friend. We swapped around coils, rechecked all plugs to see if they were fouled. Used factory parts. Checked for vacuum leaks and found none and still idling rough. Could it be hi Flo fuel pressure pumps?
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Not that I can think of

I will provide an honest answer. I trust this will be appreciated. Please remember that a low rating PUNISHES me for being honest and that I receive nothing for my time until a positive rating is clicked.
Thank you for your attention to the rating requirement.

it is unfortunately very difficult to diagnose this sophisticated engine with only a generic p code reader. I would suspect that you have an injector issue or high pressure fuel pump issue, but would strongly advise that proper diagnostics be run using a factory BMW scan tool or equivalent.

if you need a good shop for a code scan check out or for options

Please let me know if you have further questions. Please do not forget to click a positive rating as this is the only way I receive credit for my answer, thank you. Best wishes with your vehicle.
