Customer Question

My headlamps go on and off while I drive.
JA: What is the model/year of your BMW?
Customer: 328i 1996
JA: Are you fixing your 328i yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I would like to fix it. I haven't tried anything yet.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: I've not done this before. Is there a charge for this service?
JA: You just pay a $5 deposit now and the rest only when you get a reply from the BMW Mechanic. All of this is 100% satisfaction guaranteed, so you can get a refund if you're not happy for any reason.
Customer: that's reasonable.

Hello and welcome to JustAnswer!

There are several things that could be going on and it's most likely going to take some electrical testing to determine exactly what is causing the issues. You may have a wiring issue, it could be the bulbs, the switch itself, connections, etc.

Has anything been done to try to repair it?
Do both sides come and go together or independently?

Is the problem with high beam, low beam or both?
