help with seat?

Hi, the common problem with the seats on the BMW is with the cables. The cables wear over time and don't stay in the motor or gearbox. To fix the problem you need to remove the cables and remove the inner cable from the outer cable. Cut the outer cable in half and remove about 3/8" of outer cable then rejoin the outer cable together with a piece of fuel hose and clamps. You are effectively shortening the outer cable so that the inner cable protrudes more and stays in the motor and gearbox. Refit the cables and straighten the seat out and you should be fine.
