My name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here.

This code doesn't come up on this model here but is described when located elsewhere for BMW as a fault with the SMG transmission and most common can be the solenoids on the valve body or the valve body itself needing replaced.

This will have to be tested and checked further to pinpoint and repair the cause for this issue here which may take special dealer test equipment to do so.

Thanks Pete

What type of test equipment are you referring to?
Expert:  peterpete190 replied 1 year ago.

This will usually require a dealers or compatible scan tool/computer plugged into your vehicle to read data values from the transmission components as well as a transmission fluid pressure test gauge.Depending on what fault is found more diagnostic test equipment may be needed to locate the fault here as some valve body testing requires special dealer adapters as well as harness adapters for electrical testing.

We have an Autel computer here at our shop that reads hydraulic pressure and otherwise with the transmission. Which values should I be checking?
Expert:  peterpete190 replied 1 year ago.

Unfortunately my info doesn't show any test values on this here.If you want I can open your question up for others here to see if anyone else here can assist further on this just let me know if this is something you would like to do.

Thanks Pete
