X5: would a 2002 BMW X5 turned on the "Engine failsafe program"

Customer Question

would a 2002 BMW X5 turned on the "Engine failsafe program" light when ABS or brakes related issues?
I'm asking cause I know there something going on with my ABS cause all 3 lights (ABS, brake and DSC lights are on) I already replaced the ABS module but the problem is still going on.
I scanned the car and it does not give me any other codes than the 2 related to the ABS (DME/DDE does not fulfill torque and return-pump fault) but eventually the "Engine failsafe program" will occur.

it is possible that a faulty ABS module could cause this, yes.it is not common, but possible

I replaced the abs Module it self.. Not the pump module... Would the pump module cause that??

that is very unlikely.
if you unhook the module and pump, the problem shoudl go away if related to ABS
