my 2001 330ci has overheated after the light kept coming up
replaced coolant at a shop and still running red

Hi I'm Kevin first you need to let car cool down. Then make sure coolant in reservoir is at correct level . Then run car with heater on full. Making sure that heater warms up to a good temperature once heater is hot turn heater off and continue to run car. Making sure that both radiator hoses are hot. Then see if fan is cutting on. If you do this process and let me know which step you get to before engine temp starts to get too hot
