VerifiedI see a lot of Demos and they aren't get beat they are middle age businessman driving them not kids at rent-a-car. They are just driven for work with a dealer or manufacture plate and they face a sharp penalty from BMW north America if they are caught driving them recklessly.
I think either one is a no brainier and I have looked into buying a demo vehicle myself.
The only opinion I have is both of these cars are great and will be reliable I think the 528xi will be more reliable in the long run. BMW seems to have worked out all the bugs in the turbo 535xi but it still has more parts that can fail and I see more of them at the dealer with problems then the 528xi.
