2000 323i: abs light..My drivers side rear caliper has been replaced

Resolved Question:

my 2000 323i "brake" light, stability control, and abs light has come on and will not go off. i have replaced my passenger rear abs sensor and i am planning on doing the drivers side rear soon. My drivers side rear caliper has been replaced twice due to seizing up could this be a sensor issue or something far worse?

Hi, the system will require proper diagnosis before replacing any more parts.
These vehicles don't usually have problems with the wheel speed sensors.
Problems are more common with the steering angle sensor, brake pressure sensors, abs module, and the alternator failing causing poor voltage supply.
Your vehicle needs a diagnostic done with a bmw specific scan tool to pin point the faulty component, or cause of the warning lights.
If the diagnostic is not done, then you may waste money on parts that don't need to be replaced.

The dealer or independent bmw shop will read faults and give an initial diagnosis for 1 hour labor. Then you can save money by making the repair yourself, if you're equipped to do so.

O i also forgot to include that my speedo is not working

All those symptoms indicate your abs control module may be bad, but the fault codes will still need to be read from the vehicle before any accurate diagnosis can be made.
