1998 BMW 528i: keeps coming disconnected..steering wheel

Resolved Question:

I have a 1998 BMW 528i question under my 30 day unlimited question package. The switch for the drivers seat "adjustment" has been replaced a couple of keeps coming "disconnected". As you know, that shuts down the seat adjustment and steering wheel adjustment. I have a great BMW tech at the dealer who has snapped it in place for me a couple of times, and has helped me avoid having to buy a new "harness", but he's out for a few weeks. Can I connect this myself? How do I take the trim cover and black buttons off to get to the switch? I don't see any obvious screws. GK

Steve-- BTW thanks for the advice on the fuel pump question I had in January. It was the pump indeed.

You should be able to access this under the seat without removing anything. Have a look and let me know what you find.
