1994 bmw: convertible..plastic window..sticking..with the origina tool

Hello,my name is XXXXX XXXXX H.K. I have a 1994 Bmw e36 M50 3251 convertible has been hit from behind by the other motor vehicle,is very powerful hit,the rollover bar run upward,because of the plastic window,so the bar can not coming out completely,but it make the window have sticking out and the folding top can not open. To fix that,I have to push the rollover bar down and back to the original place,the problem is,I don't have that tools.Question is,have the other way to push the bar down?If yes,How?Thankyou very much.
P.S : I want to make it fair,Pls don't answer this question if the answer is .No,only do this with the origina tool.

In that case, you should be able to do it with a screwdriver or metal ruler or something similar.

Best case would be to borrow the tools from somebody else with an E36 though...
