Hello, I have recently bought a used 2005 BMW E90 320d [/topics-320d/] SE when I bought it I did'nt realise but every time you start the car there is a warning light in the dash, its the yellow circle around a triangle with an explanation mark, in the book it lists many explanations, the abs and dtc ect ect has been switched off. I have had the car diagosed by a bmw expert, the only fault code listed on the ecu is "faulty brake [/topics-brake/] presure switch" this fault had been reported to the ecu 255 times and the car had been driven nearly 30,000 miles since the fault was originally reported. Bmw have said that the brake presure switch is inside the ABS control unit and therefore the whole abs control unit will need replacing. They are asking for 1410GBP just for the part. Can you please tell me what you think???????

Unfortunately they are correct, the ABS unit will need to be replaced. You're only other alternative is to look for a used one from the salvage yard. That way you may save some money
