Don't know if this helps, but Colt Hartford and Argentine Systema 1927. Found this information on www. gunvaluesboard.com/1927-colt-argentine-22773230.html sending the pics. also I'm learning how to use this web site just started this evening.

unknown about what is written the photo provided about is what the auctioneer had posted on the inter-net. it will be a given that the 'bobbed trigger guard' was a custom modification. Further research on I found that this gun would only sell between $450-600.00 dollars on Gun broker . Colt only made 1,000 of these in 1927 according to the serial number and their web site. Still what does your blue book say about this gun per year and serial number? versus what I'm finding on the internet gun sites
OK - that gun can't be an Argentine Systema based on the serial number. That is a Model 1911A1 Pre-WWII Commercial, which was made in the U.S. The modification to the trigger guard will lower the value, which should be between $900 and $1,000, assuming that the gun has at least 60% of the original finish on it.
