is the rooster rough? Or are there some mites? I would suggest trying a homeopathic remedy called sulphur 30 c for the red bum. You can order it online and give a few pellets in their water supply every day to see if it helps

Ok that sounds great. We do not have a rooster. Do I need to somehow apply it to the chicken as well, or just in their water?

I don't see any mites, but that would be my best guess. It's all 12 of the ladies!
the remedy typically just goes in the water but I have sprayed it directly onto the affected area with mites for better results . You can also combine it with another remedy called stapysagaria 30c for lice as well.
