I found my cockatoo in the bottom of the Avery in heat

I found my cockatoo...

I found my cockatoo in the bottom of the Avery in heat distress. He is now calm and eating but can not stay on the perch. Will this resolve in time?

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. What is the bird's name and age?

Charlie and about 20

The prognosis associated with heatstroke varies widely depending on clinical severity. Birds recovering from heatstroke don't generally have any long-term side effects but may be at increased risk of future heatstroke.
