He is loosing all his feathers and has not much balance.

Customer Question
He is loosing all...

He is loosing all his feathers and has not much balance . What can I do for him

Veterinarian's Assistant: I'll do all I can to help. What is the matter with the bird?

He still eats like before and drinks. he is a old bird I have him for over 25 years. I found him in a tree so do not know how old he is

Veterinarian's Assistant: Where does the bird seem to hurt?

Does not seem to hurt he did get hurt about a year ago. seems that one wing might be sore but he does not say so when I pick him up

Veterinarian's Assistant: OK. No obvious pain. What is the bird's name?

Also would like to know how old they can get?

Veterinarian's Assistant: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about the bird?

Not that I can think about

Hello. My name is***** and I am a veterinarian that can answer your question. I understand your bird is losing balance and his feathers. I am sorry to hear about this current problem. I did not see any information regarding what kind of bird he is or where the feathers are being lost on the body (i.e. head, wings, everywhere, etc.). Would you mind letting me know the details regarding those questions? Thank you.
