Hello I have a weiro a male.
Tonight we let him out for a fly and he landed in our desert he was a bit sticky on his foot so i held him gently to wipe his feet he was wriggling a bit and I heard a crunch sound? Would that be his bone? It gave me fright he is fine and flying happily what was that sound?

I'm sorry that your question wasn't answered in a timely manner. We don't have many avian vets on this site. Suffice to say, you didn't harm Lemon. A bird who if fine and happily flying about didn't suffer a bone fracture. I might conjecture that you heard his beak grind which is consistent with a bird stressed by being contained in your hand.
