Hello, I'm Dr. Bob. I'm sorry to read of Bakkies' situation. Was this a steel BB, or a lead pellet?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
It was a lead pellet

Okay, thank you. That's not good. The only way to possibly get it out without resorting to surgery is to use a fiberoptiscope with a pickup or basket attachment, or an alligator forceps with a lot of luck. A veterinarian may be able to snag the pellet if it's still in Bakkies' crop. Otherwise, surgery will be needed. I know of no home remedy that could possibly help you remove this potentially toxic metal. If you have any more questions, I'll be happy to answer them for you. Kind regards, *****
