The gall bladder infection would be more likely to promote weight loss than it would to hinder weight loss. Before considering weight loss surgery, you should give your body at least 6 months to heal and re-establish its metabolism after having the adenoma removed. If your weight loss is still at a standstill after 6 months, then it would be appropriate to consider an operation like the bypass.
