I recently filed bankruptcy and was finalized in October

Customer Question

I recently filed bankruptcy and was finalized in October 2015. Another company purchased
my property. Yes, I have gotten a little behind on making my house payments due to a
divorce. I am presently caught up as of December 2015 and is paid up thru mid-February 2016. This company wants me to sigh a document which includes them including my house insurance and property tax. This totals close to $1500. Well my house insurance is
paid up through June 2016. And I usually pay my house taxes in December. It will be a
81.00 difference tack on to my mortgage payment. I really like things as is, don't want
to sign this agreement. Can I remain as is without signing this document?

I'm not certain I understand the facts. Please clarify:

1. You state: "Another company purchased my property." Do you mean a new loan servicing agent has taken over the servicing of your mortgage?

2. You state that your bankruptcy "was finalized in October 2015." Which chapter bankruptcy (7 or 13)?

3. Re the property, what did the bankrutpcy court order, if anything specific?

Thanks in advance!
