Hello, I have three major credit cards with a $35K balance. I am unable to continue meeting the payment schedule due to increased interest percent charges. What legal action can the companies take? I am a homeowner in the state of Florida and employed.

They can send you to collections, and then eventually sue you. They can then garnish wages, freeze/seize bank accounts. Perhaps you should consider filing a bankruptcy case.
