I need to find a bankruptcy attorney in TX that doesnt require

Resolved Question:

I need to find a bankruptcy attorney in TX that doesn't require a large retianer fee. I simply don't have $500 for a retainer. I am ill, on disablity and trying to get everything in order.
Bankruptcy is the last thing I want to do..........but, my options are running out. Is it possible to retain an bankruptcy attorney with a small down payment. I don't have $500 dollars to retain an attorney. I now bankrutptcy is expensive and I really don't have any other options.
So is there an TX attorney that would represent me with a small retainer fee?

You can try legal aid. They may represent you for a low or no fee.

However, if your only income is Social Security Disability and you have no assets, it does not seem necessary to file for bankruptcy. Your Social Security Disability cannot be attached by your creditors. Your family would typically not be responsible for your debts.
