I filed Chapter 7 and my attorney failed to file the correct

Resolved Question:

I filed Chapter 7 and my attorney failed to file the correct paperwork so it was dismissed. He refiled the paperwork and I failed to attend my creditors meeting due to the fact that I could not get out of work and I had asked my attorney to rescheduel which he did not. Do I have any options? Can I refile?

You should call the attorney that re-filed for you and ask if he can contact the Trustee to re-schedule the first meeting of creditors under the circumstances. The Bankruptcy Courts are very strict about attendance at first meetings of creditors. I think the worst thing that you are looking at is the possibility of paying another filing fee.
