We purchased a new avan and annex last year. We paid $5,000 deposit on 11.03.2022. Paid $54,500 on19.12.2022, on pick up. This included $3,000 for an annex. We were told in March to order an annex as soon as possible to ensure it was ready when the caravan was ready. We ordered in September. Avan Geelong were made aware that we needed both van and annex by mid January for our annual holiday. The caravan  was to be picked up in October, but it wasn't ready until 19th December, 2022. No annex! Sales manager said couldn't order annex until they had the van to get the measurements. Said he would do it that day. Wasn't sure how long it would take because of Christmas break. Suggested they could provide us with a make do set up from the workshop at no extra cost to me. Spoke to Paul again in January re annex. Still not ordered! Next excuse was that he couldn't help us because we didn't have th strips put on the van. Surely that was another of their mistakes! We took th van away in january without an annex. 2nd week in February I rang and booked the van in to have the strips and a couple of little jobs fixed on the 9th march. Hoping the annex would be ready too. I reminded them the week before. We took van in on the 9th. Not sure they were ready for it then because they said they were busy. Told them that the provision of the annex was too stressful and I cancelled the order. They agreed to refund the $3,000 they'd held since December.  I left my bank details with a gentleman in the workshop who passed them on to Paul. It's now 21st march and I have neither the money nor the annex. I contacted Paul again yesterday and alerted him to the fact the money had not been deposited in my bank and we still didn't have the van. Of course he was going to look into immediately and get back to me. Once again I'm still waiting! I'm not sure what to do from here. I feel that I have been more than reasonable but that is not being reciprocated. Can you please help me. Marg ***

I am in Victoria and am not receiving help from anyone.

I have only been in contact with the seller at Geelong Caravans who sell Avans. I have been dealing with the sales manager,  Paul  not sure of the surname. He is only offering excuses and the run around. Not sure how to contact Avan head office.

As I've said I keep getting excuses and the run around.
